In an effort to rebuild the earthly kingdom, he recruited assistance from other trusted Clockwork deities: his son Osiris and his lover Isis, Thoth, Anubis, Akhet, Benu, Anat, and Bestet. Together, peace was maintained for the next 25 years, until they were betrayed by Sylas’s right hand man, Rufus.

Protector of Graves
Anubis
Following the death of Osiris, Seth plans on scattering Osiris’s remains throughout the land as a symbol of disrespect. Anubis pleads with Seth, telling him that scattering the remains would be offensive to the gods. Seth agrees to let Anubis properly bury Osiris. With the help of Thoth, the god of time and celestial bodies, Anubis buries Osiris’s in a time lock, preventing outsiders from locating the body. Although Anubis is respected amongst the gods, he fears Seth would eventually regret his decision of allowing a proper burial. So Anubis goes to the one person he can trust with the location of Osiris’s body, Sylas Steele, the founder of Clockwork and discloses the location of the body. Soon after, Isis, the lover of Osiris, visits Anubis and agrees to guard his body. As Seth grows more paranoid of the idea that Osiris might return, Anubis and Sylas become his first targets to discovering the location of Osiris’s body.

Goddess of Plague, Fire, and War
Sekhmet
After the defeat of her father Ra in the first great war, the lioness goddess of war, disease, and fire aligned herself with Seth. Her sister Bastet pleaded with her to honor their father and leave Seth, but Sekhmet attacked Bastet and left her to die. During the rule of Seth, Sekhmet becomes consumed with power. Seth takes advantage of her by convincing her to release a poison toxin into the air where she is the only one able to provide a cure. Seth convinces her to only provide the people with small doses of the cure to temporarily relieve symptoms in order to control the population. She is adored by the people as the one who brings healing. Unaware that she is just another pawn of Seth, she fulfills her destiny, by being both the hero and villain of her own story.

Goddess of Health
Bastet
When her father, Ra, was gravely injured during the first great war of the gods, Bastet, the goddess of healing was unable to help Ra. After his defeat, Bastet’s family cast her out to live amongst the humans where she was beloved for her gift of healing. Her sister, Sekhmet, watched on growing more and more jealous of the reverence the humans showed to Bastet. During the second reawakening, Bastet pleaded with her sister to not align herself with Seth, the god of chaos. Sekhmet beat Bastet and left her for dead.

God of the Nile
General Sobek
After Sekhmet and Rufus came to power, Sekhmet released a toxin in the air that would poison the population. Her plan to control the people without their knowing worked as they were the only ones holding a serum to suppress the symptoms of the toxin, but some people saw through their plan. Most stayed quiet, but soon a resistance organization known as the Cult of Osiris formed. They stayed hidden, out of sight, slowly gathering intel on the Sekhmet regime. General Sobek was put in charge of ending the Cult of Osiris. “None of you are safe. You not only forfeit your own life, but the lives of your children and your children’s children. You are an enemy of this land. Terrorists seeking your own demise. I will end you.”

Protector of Osiris
Isis
Isis now finds herself as the guardian of the ancient tomb. Once the wife of Osiris, she vows to let no further harm befall her husband and protects his resting place. After Set killed Osiris, Set reluctantly allowed Anubis to respectfully bury the remains. With the news of her husband’s death, Isis fell into despair and lost purpose. The once Goddess of Motherhood forfeit her responsibilities and went to live amongst the humans. Anubis pitied Isis and came to her with an offer of reuniting with Osiris. Anubis showed Isis the location of the remains so that she could stand guard, protecting him for all of time. Until this day, Isis guards the tomb of Osiris, destroying all who attempt to approach it.
